2022

The House of Creed is an authentic, luxury perfume house dedicated to the creation of highly original, artisan fragrances for men and women.

Challenge

Creed was looking to add another level of personalization to their offering by allowing users to engrave their products as well as creating bundled products.

Solution

We discussed with Creed their specific requirements and set to design a solution that would be both in keeping with their brand and functional from a UX perspective. In addition, we looked at refining the existing PDP to be more user-friendly and in line with the bundled and engraved PDP designs.

Consistency is key

It was crucial to maintain consistency across the default PDP, sample builder, and bundle builder as it helped to establish a cohesive and unified experience for the user. Consistency in design and user interface elements, such as buttons, typography, and colour scheme, can create a sense of familiarity and trust with the brand.

It also helps the user to navigate through the site more easily and intuitively, reducing the chances of confusion or frustration

Using trays to keep the page clean

In order to ensure a clear and concise design, I used a tray to contain the selection options for the sample set builder, bundle builder, and engraving.

This prevented the page from becoming cluttered and overcrowded with information, making it more legible and user-friendly. By using the tray design, users were able to quickly and easily browse the options and make their selections without feeling overwhelmed by too much information on the page.
